This website was a project of Dr. David Chrisman's Historical Inquiry, Research & Method class. In the summer of 2012, twelve students at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas, researched the Woman's Commonwealth of Belton, held a mock trial, and authored research papers which were gathered here into this final result.
The students who contributed to this website were: Jennifer Calhoun, Steven Camps, Aleysia Chambers, Abby Criswell, Faith Forester, Dominique Lewis, Josey McConahay, Aaron Powell, Christopher Rodriguez, Diaonne Taylor, Emma Walzel, and Kevin Williams.
Stephanie Turnham, director of the Bell County Museum, offered her expert knowledge about the Sanctified Sisters. Denise Karimkhani, UMHB librarian, gathered resources for the project and provided editorial assistance.
